idaho recovery advocacy project
WHO WE ARE
Recovery Voices Idaho is a network of people and organizations across Idaho advocating for addiction recovery policies. RVI is committed to giving people in recovery from all pathways, family members, and supporters of recovery the grassroots organizing tools to think and act locally. As part of the Recovery Advocacy Project, Recovery Voices Idaho is working to build a visible and effective constituency in demand of community and public policy-based solutions in response to America’s long-standing addiction crisis.
Change happens from the ground up. Not from the top down. We’re committed to building communities and constituencies of consequence by empowering people to become advocates for what’s best in their own backyard.
Meet other like-minded community leaders. Learn new tools. Empower others in your community to make a difference. We believe in the power of community to force change
Action speaks louder than words. Policy and decision-makers respond to mobilized communities. The time to stand up for recovery is now.
Recovery Voices of Idaho is a partnership of interested individuals and organizations, all working together to advance opportunities for people with substance use and mental health disorders, to improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential. We are grateful for the support and guidance of the Recovery Advocacy Project as well as support from IMSI Hope Community Phase II, the Idaho Harm Reduction Project, and Recovery Idaho
